CASSIDY (CAS) NEWTON RICE

Cassidy (Cas) Rice received their Masters of Social Work from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2018 and their Bachelors of Social Work from the University of North Texas in 2016. Cas worked doing primarily play therapy with a foster care agency in Texas for four years before moving to Albuquerque in 2023.

Cas is excited to work with the whole family at Small Steps, helping parents to relate and understand their children better to improve their relationship and help the whole family feel empowered and secure with each other. They believe that attachment within the family and the relationship with the therapist is one of the most important parts of growing and healing.
